Volunteers don't pay the host anything. They pay FarFrom a one-off booking fee per stay, which covers host vetting, platform support and running the site. Take a look at our volunteer pricing page for more details.
Your annual membership covers everything you need to host unlimited volunteers for a full year. There are no hidden fees or per-volunteer charges.
You're always in control. If things aren't working out, you can end the stay early. We recommend clear communication upfront about expectations, and our support team is here to help if any issues arise.
Most hosts ask for around 3 hours of help per day, typically 5 days a week. You set out what's involved in your listing, and volunteers apply knowing exactly what to expect.
It's entirely up to you. Some hosts provide meals as part of the exchange, while others offer kitchen access for volunteers to cook their own food. Just be clear in your listing about what you offer.
